It ends level at the Villamarin, with neither side able to find a winner following two spectacular second-half goals. After former Real Madrid playmaker Isco had a shot turned wide by Lunin, current Real Madrid revelation Bellingham brought down a peach of a ball from Diaz and side-footed the opener into the bottom corner. Rodrygo spurned a chance to double the lead soon afterwards, but within 13 minutes, Betis were on level terms in some style. Ruibal's looping long-range strike was absolutely unsavable and found the top corner to send the home fans into a frenzy, and inspired Betis to go all-out in an effort to win the game. Both sides came close to finding that elusive winner, with Isco's header hitting the post and low shots from Willian Jose and Joselu creeping millimetres around the far posts at both ends of the field. Betis miss the chance to climb above Real Sociedad into sixth, but do draw level on points with them, while a solitary point for Madrid gives Girona the impetus to win their game in hand and return to the top of LaLiga.
